Great Santa Cruz Bike Shops

Santa Cruz is a great place for biking. From pump tracks to road riding along Highway 1 or on the new Rail Trail to any one of the fantastic mounting biking trails, there something here for everyone.

But if you don’t have the equipment you need (or are just looking to invest in a new kind of bike!) Santa Cruz is also well set to get you on two wheels in style. Here are some of our favorite local bike shops:

Shops in Midtown to South County:

Downtown shops:

  • Spokesman Bikes – Bike and repairs shop with a large downtown location. There’s also a smaller shop on the Westside.
  • Current eBikes – Specializing in electric bikes, open by appointment only.
  • If you are looking to learn more about doing your own bike repairs, The Bike Church is the place to know about. This community bike shop and tool crib offers space and tools to work on your bike for a small fee, used bikes for sale, and donation bikes for kids in need.

Shops on the Westside:

  • Another Bike Shop – Small, friendly shop on the far end of the Westside
  • Epicenter Cycling – Sales and rentals, with Westside and Aptos locations.
  • Santa Cruz Bicycles – Coveted high end bikes – showroom is currently closed, but contact for a showing appointment.

Shops in Scotts Valley:

Not sure where to take your new bike? Connect with The Ride Guides for info on local trails, riding clinics, and 1:1 bike guides.

Where is your favorite place to ride in Santa Cruz County?
