Santa Cruz Hiking Trails – something for everyone
One of my favorite weekend activities is hitting the trails on hike with the family! And there are some amazing views in Santa Cruz County. Here’s a list of my favorite places to hike with a view:
Wilder Ranch Bluff Loop – Fun flat hike with great ocean views. Look for the napping seals!
Nisene Marks Creek Trail – This is a great hike on a hot day – you get to splash in the creek to cool down!
Pogonip Spring Box Trail – This one has a bit of a hill, but it is worth it! The old lime kiln spring is lovely and the koi are magical. If you are a little adventurous, head up the hill just a little further to the rock grotto and leave a wish!
Looking for something more urban? The Bethany Curve Walk on the Westside and the Skypark Loop walk in Scotts Valley are both paved or hard-packed dirt, and work well with a stroller, scoot bike, or even a wheel chair.
Any others I should add to the list?
